Good quality LED upgrade!

With the constant price of energy rising, I was on a mission to find replacements for our church multipurpose sanctuary. The ceiling is 18-20 feet high. The fixtures are high bay 400 watt metal halide and we have 12. Being a skeptic of stuff bought on here from cheap, foreign lands, I purchased 1 to start with and was very impressed by the quality and operation. I then purchased more (a few weeks later) and so far have replaced 8 metal halides with these 150 watt LEDs. I already had comments about how nice it is to flip the switch and not have to wait 5 minutes for light, thus because the old bulbs must heat up.Installation:Pretty simple. Pull out the starting and ballast guts of the old light and put in the light driver. The one I purchased is 120v so I capped the second hot wire in every fixture as it was not needed. This is significantly heavier then the glass bulb, so insure that your mogul base mount is nice and tight. I also took the fixture overheat and start delay out of the circuit as the new LED light has a temp sensor chip built into it for overheating. It only took about 15-20 minutes per fixture. The picture:Light on the left is the 150w LED. Light on the right is 400w metal halide. In the picture they look pretty much the same, the metal halides have a pinkish/purple tint and are not as bright. These 150w LED lights are supposed to be 600w metal halide equivalent however I always look at lumen output and these had a closer lumen output of a new 400w metal halide then the 120w LED that was supposed to be 400w metal halide equivalent.Metal halide lights gradually lose intensity as they age, most of these bulbs are 10+ years old so I was expecting the new LEDs to be a little brighter and they are.
