Review on Symphonized MTRX Premium Genuine Wood In-Ear Noise-Isolating Headphones With Mic And Nylon Cable (Orange Stripe) by Olga Porter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very short shelf life. Guaranteed to break in a few months. Bad sound quality. upset.

UPDATE: I'm downgrading this from 2 stars to 1 star because the last pair I bought in September 2016 also broke. The glue holding the two pieces of wood together where there is a small silver stripe has come loose so you can see the inner wires. I don't abuse my headphones. These things are just very cheaply made. Big disappointment. First review: I have tried 3 types of Symphonized headphones in the last 2 years. I first tried the Symphonized NRG Premium Noise Isolating Natural Wood In-Ear Earphones with Mic (White). They lasted about 4 months and then the liner ripped. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a free replacement. The replacement worked for about 6 months then the same thing broke and also on my Nexus 5 smartphone they now only produce sound from 1 earbud. I then tried the Symphonized MTRX Premium Noise Isolating In-Ear Earphones in Natural Wood with microphone and nylon cable (red). They worked for about 6 months then the connector fell apart and now it doesn't make a good connection unless I hold it in place. They are useless as they are. I don't know why I decided to try the same model again, but I tried the Symphonized MTRX Premium Noise Isolating Earbuds in real wood with microphone and nylon cable (orange stripe). They actually still work perfectly, but I'm very unhappy with the sound quality. In contrast to the NRG, the MTRX produces a very weak sound with little bass. I find they really aren't worth $25 - they sound more like cheap $8 headphones. So this is my fourth set of Symphonized in-ear headphones and to be honest I never really liked them and they have a very short shelf life, they break after a few months. I recommend looking for another manufacturer.
