I don't do house renovations, I don't know how to use them at all, but I still managed to install this hand held shower and it doesn't leak! Installation was very easy and required no additional tools or wrenches. My first attempt had a water leak from the main shower arm so I checked the washer again and wrapped some of the supplied teflon tape around the pipe threads and that fixed the leak. Very easy and the hand shower works great now. For the price, this hand shower does the job and I love that it has a few different spray options. Some might not like that it's not heavy or metal, but I prefer the lighter (hence plastic) hand shower because it's easier to hold and if I accidentally hit my head or hit my arm or leg with it, does it work. it hurts like hell. All in all a good buy for the price
