I have three of these rugs in my carpentry shop and three thinner and longer rugs from another manufacturer. They are much more comfortable to stand on; standing on it is no less pleasant than on a carpet, if not better. The beveled edge is also a plus. I put the good ones (these) next to the most used ones and the cheaper ones next to everything else. The only thing I complain about is that they move across the concrete floor of my store. The bottom is made of sponge foam, but it is not soft enough to stick to the floor well. I finally got tired of the hassle and safety hazard that moveable mats posed and bolted them to the concrete, an unaesthetic but very effective solution. All in all, I can definitely recommend these rugs. They're a bit more expensive compared to others, but worth it if you're going to be in one place all day.
