I keep watching VR videos on Youtube and have been curious for a long time. I'm not a gamer, so I can't confirm that yet. But for VR videos on Youtube, it's pretty handy. At first I thought it wouldn't work. I had to close one eye to focus and no matter how I adjusted the settings on the glasses, nothing worked. Then I understand that you need to click on the GOGGLE icon in the Youtube video itself. When you start playing Youtube VR videos, it assumes you don't have Google, so non-VR is used by default. You need to change it to VR then you will see the video is split into two parts. Now if you put on glasses, you get VR! There's also a button under the mask that lets you move a small cursor, but for now all you can do is stop or pause the video. Unfortunately, you can't control the entire YouTube app. But with glasses that's no problem, I think it's up to Youtube to make the app glasses-friendly. So currently you have to remove your phone to change volume, change video or search, or you can just let the next video play. Luckily, taking the phone out is very easy, you can just reach up to the top of the headset and press the tab. You don't have to take off your headset every time you need to access your phone. The processing quality is very pleasant. I like it.
