I just received this product and have only used it once, so I cannot comment on battery life. But it did come fully charged. I hang it up under my deck umbrella for when I am out there in the evening, and it makes quite a difference. I can see my instruments better when I play, and it provides more light that my lanterns sitting on the table near me. It is small and versatile, lightweight to hang anywhere. I really like it, and might buy a second one. Remote control needs to be fairly close to work, but otherwise this seems to live up to its billing.
