I thought it only had one velcro and was about to message the company, but then I checked again - the second velcro was glued to the first, apparently they were from the manufacturer. So you just have to separate them from each other. Other than that, they're just fine. Other people say they put a nickel or penny in the grip to add weight in the back because they feel pretty heavy once the controllers are attached. Another guy said he had some kind of weight and spring in each of them, although of course nothing like that is on hand. Maybe that's not good for experts as the weight puts more stress on the wrist. If so, you might just need to try a different grip style on your controllers. I'm almost at this point and using the Beat Saber for both exercise and fun, so I'm about halfway through my wrist/arm movement. So this works for me!
