I'm no longer disappointed. I wish the ones I worked so badly on after reading the reviews and rolling the dice BUT unfortunately that didn't happen. None, none works right out of the box. First I removed all the battery protectors and then checked them one by one. Press once to turn on, twice for fast blinking, and three times for slow blinking. I was very disappointed that only four of these worked, but I liked them so much I decided to keep them to myself. But when I showed them to my grandson, I had trouble with three of them. It is no longer necessary to press once for power on, twice for fast strobe and three times for slow strobe. It was a disaster. Everything hit or miss. Or click click click click and cheers! But good luck it doing anything else including shutdown. Such a complete disappointment. When my husband got home I showed them to him and all four that "worked" were complete failures to begin with. I rolled the dice, I lost. If you are lucky enough to get this job, you are awesome! I can't stress this enough! WHEN THESE GET A JOB, THEY WILL BE AMAZING LITTLE LIGHTS! Then I would give 20 stars! Please reach out and turn my frown upside down. Honey please, with a cherry on top. Oh PS I hope to use them on my dog collars at night when we take them for a walk.
