When I was a kid my parents had a similar kitchen gadget so I was glad to get one of these. But it has two key design flaws. First, as others have pointed out, this is a left-handed device. how could it be You may not be able to tell from the pictures, but it has four rivets on one side to keep it pan-tight. It's an improvement over what we had as a kid, but the four cleats are positioned so you have to hold the pot (which is heavier) in your left hand. It makes more sense to hold the pan in your right hand (which is stronger for right-handed people). Cons #2: The handle is too short.
