Summary: I've been working on projects, whether at home or in the car, for many years, but I don't use gloves. It is important to have the right level of protection. Observations: ANSI recently revised the protection rating for gloves, so it's time to familiarize yourself with the new standard. This is the A4 cut format. No rating for abrasion or puncture resistance. When I'm gardening, especially felling trees where I'm using a handsaw, I prefer a high cutting power like A5 (or higher). They're good for general projects and have a good grip, but coated gloves (like nitrile) hold up better when wet. SIZE: I usually wear a medium size with everything, but I can also wear a large size. Being X-Large they slip on very easily and don't bunch up too much (like oversized gloves) so I rate the sizing for the X-Large as accurate. Recommendations: It's good to have several different types and styles. gloves at hand. I have a pair of heavy leather gloves when working with thorn bushes. Check your gloves regularly and discard those that no longer provide full protection. Pros: Good fit and finish; to grab; good stretch; the size is accurate. Cons: Cost. Conclusion: $14 for 3 pairs (about $5 for a pair), rating this 5 stars.
