I'm not a locksmith or criminal so I don't know how they work on those levels but I really like them (Bought 8 pieces). Beautiful appearance. Very pleasant tactile sensations when locking / unlocking. Unlike other styles, each page only installs one way, so you don't have to worry about page orientation. Insert the latch into the door with the face up. How difficult is it? Place the outer 1/2 of the lock on the outside of the door, keyway down, insert the inner 1/2 and install with 2 long threaded screws. (Other locks are a real challenge to align the screws in the lock and risk crossing the threads. Not here. Before tightening the screws 100%, make sure the deadbolt works smoothly. Tighten. After Installing the first latch it took me every 3 minutes to install the other 7 into the pre-drilled doors.
