This was just what we wanted!We built a 7ft tall barn door that was 45 inches wide and needed an 8ft kit to finish the project. We could not find one in-stock anywhere in town. We ordered this heavy duty 8ft kit and it was delivered in two days. We also ordered the suggested matching door pull and floor guide. The hardware was easy to install and strong enough to hold the door. We added a soft-close kit to keep the little ones from slamming the door. The wheels roll smooth and quiet.

My husband and I built a barn door and installed it using the SmartStandard track. We also purchased the customized roller for the bottom of the door from SmartStandard. It looks wonderful. Used this to install a 35" barn door that I built for our bedroom closet. Package arrived on time w/o damage. Included rail, installation hardware for drywall and concrete (5 bolts each), wheels with bolts and door stops. The hardest part for us was the header board. This is not reflective of the company or hardware. My studs were 18” vs 16” apart because there is a shower behind where we out the door. After we got the header up it was a breeze. My husband was able to do most of it by himself. I had to help carry the door in and held the frame up when he bolted it. First barn door ever and it went pretty smooth. I bought this hardware back in 2017 from amazon and bought boards and black matching big head screws from big chain hardware store. Sits only 2 foot from my wood stove which heats the entire house. It’s now almost 3 years and still rolls like the day I bought it. The instructions were well written. The material is of very high quality. Of course, I didn't always measure correctly, nor did I install it perfectly level. This resulted in the door opening very slowly all by itself.This was fixed by placing a small piece of duct tape on the rail just behind the inside pulley (wheel) so that when the door closed, the wheel rolled over the tape, and it was enough to keep it in place. Duct tape to the rescue . . . again.

This hardware cost over $150 at Lowe's or Home Depot and is of higher quality than those stores. I had to make a 94" x 36" door for my pantry and it turned out to be EXTREMELY heavy. I was hesitant on the disclosed plastic wheels but you really can't tell and they roll very smooth. The big wheels on the brackets let it glide nicely! Plus they look cooler than the other styles! I put a heavy insulted door made from 2x4s and OSB with a glass window, and it's still effortless. Do yourself a favor and buy the soft close attachments. It helps when my 3 yr old flings the door open so it doesn't slam against the stop.

Purchased to hang a pallet-board door that I created in my industrial/rustic-themed basement (uh, my Man Cave). All of the other fixtures in the basement are oil-rubbed bronze in color, so I bought a can of Rustoleum Metallic to paint the hardware prior to installation. The only complaint I have about this product has to do with the hardware provided to mount the hanging wheels on the door. The bolts sent in the kitare made for 1 3/4 inch thick (exterior doors). A note in the instructions said if using less thick doors more washers were needed to fill the gap between the door and decorative acorn nut. Additional washers were not included. Very good quality unit. Quiet operation, the larger wheels make it look much more expensive and seem to overall help with smoothness of operation.The only issue is the provided bottom guide, it does not seem to be the best method to secure the door. It's plastic and you need to channel a groove in the bottom of the door to keep it from swaying. But it looks like from mild pressure against the door, it would snap this piece. Better off to get a roller set up for the bottom.

Very happy with this hardware. I have a few barn doors. I used expensive hardware on the first two from a popular barn door hardware retailer. This hardware is just as good and just as smooth. The only difference being the wheels on this are hard plastic. With that said, these wheels seem very hard and well made, and they don’t look plastic. This is hard to beat for the price. My other sets were 3 times this price.

Works perfect, no complaints. I had to oversized the track because of light switches. Took me( professional) three hours start to finish. Katherine Udstuen The problem with the wheels bouncing is you have the spacers behind the track backwards. the fat ring goes to the wall side. Not the track side. Hope this message finds you. This was a beautiful installation it really looks good. the peice that sits on the floor and keeps the door from swinging too much is not practical as the door will have to be almost scrubbing the floor it needs to be at least an inch or inch and a half off the floor. Still a good product and would buy again, it could just be better with my suggestion.
