I bought this adapter to simplify cabling on my desk as I have a laptop and an extra display. Initial thoughts were that it has a sleek design and a solid anodized aluminum body. It was nice, like a quality product. I used it to connect an external SSD, PS4 controller, mouse and USB keyboard. I noticed a jerky mouse movement. It's okay, I connected the mouse directly to the computer. I then had the same problem with the keyboard. switched back to computers. I think I noticed my WiFi turning off and on. I thought I had a problem with the wireless card on my laptop and tried everything. I finally unplugged the USB hub. THINGS! I had WiFi again. I started testing by plugging and unplugging the adapter. I found that my WiFi went down with ONLY the adapter and external SSD connected. When only the PS4 controller was connected to the hub, it worked. This hub only worked as a USB cable extender for my PS4 controller and nothing else. Forced to return. :(
