These forks are easy to hold compared to forks and other forks and can be used for 14 months. They are thick and curved, which helps him grip. They're a good length so he can easily twist the fork into his mouth without too much trouble. The width and size of the metal part of the fork is good and he has no problem getting the fork in his mouth with food. Of course, at this age you have to be careful that your child doesn't accidentally hurt himself when using a real fork, but they weren't dangerous and he likes to use them to prick food and it sticks well to the fork. Some of the other forks we tried left him frustrated when the food fell off after working so hard to put it in there! I recommend and just bought more!
