This is a handy laptop lifter. It lifts it higher than advertised - probably 3.5 inches or so. It elevates my Mac to the level of my external monitors. Once installed, it's strong enough to hold the laptop securely. With a 3.5" rear triangle, I had to lower my chair to be more ergonomic. Overall they have made good improvements since the low rating comments were made, especially the rubber coating on everything so it sticks well to the laptop. Overall, it's a solid laptop stand that's a little bigger than we'd like and goes much higher (which is odd, because who needs a laptop with a vertical keyboard?). Update: I bought https://www.amazon. com/gp/product/B08F43KSH7/ and placed these risers in the middle of the Nulaxy riser for a much more reasonable 2 inch rise. This provides complete ergonomic comfort and cooling for my laptop.
