My original swatch strap was decent but the link connecting the two straps is broken. It's a little strange that metal would break under light stress, but it's true. This replacement is actually better in every way (comfort, durability, looks). Serious. And this item was really easy to install with the little tool provided. I have no complaints. I think the original purchase should have used this particular strap to save me the hassle of buying a replacement.
