I was a little hesitant to use Honest brand diapers because my husband and I had rashes from using Honest brand sunscreen . This made me wonder if my child would be allergic to the Honest product. I'm so glad we tried these diapers! Luckily our baby didn't experience any negative reaction to it. The diapers are lightweight and surprisingly absorbent. They hold up pretty well. The only downside is that they don't have a smart strip to show when the diaper is wet. However, these diapers don't really need it. Because of its initial weight, you can already tell from the outside of the diaper that it's wet because it's getting heavier. We also really liked the Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Pure diapers that we used interchangeably and here's why; Honest diapers are smaller. They are large between sizes. I mean going from Pampers NB to Pampers 1 is a big leap. We found our child was too big for NB but too small for size 1. Honestly, size 1 is a good average size. So we went from Honest NB to Pamper NB to Honest size 1 and now slowly to Pampers size 1. We hope that this will continue to be the case. We bought boxes of rose petals and sliced fruit. I've noticed that sliced fruit diapers are slightly smaller than packaged rose petal diapers for some reason. So I use chopped fruit first and then rose petals, or I use rose petals at night. I would say the first size is probably better at 8-12lbs for a good fit but not too tight.
