Clark's shoes aren't as good as they used to be.
They are quite comfortable but I have bought higher quality Clarks. I kept these as I ordered 4 more pairs of Clarks, 2 styles in 2 sizes. Of the 5 pairs of shoes I ordered I decided to keep these because I needed something to wear to go running. However, they are not very comfortable without socks. The straps are not leather, but hard plastic. I wish they could find something softer than plastic but still keep the price down. I know I ordered shoes for $40, not $80-$100, but that's all I can afford. I'm used to Clarks being a good shoemaker but after going through it all.
