The Most Unusual Way to Display Amaryllis

I had a display case of amaryllis where the bulb was at the top and fell down and broke under the weight of the flower. With this glass vase, the bulb is deeper in the vase and I hope it doesn't fall off due to its placement and the weight of the water. I am growing my first amaryllis. I always buy a large bulb from our plant shop and it fits perfectly in a large vase. This is an easy and fun way to watch a flower grow. No soil or potting soil to deal with and you can see the roots growing just like the flower.
