Cats have always been big fans of this food. In fact, despite being nowhere to be found, they somehow figured out that the sound of the bag being opened was cat food and ran out to see what the sound would give them. You were not disappointed. They left their usual morning meal to eat this. Cats enthusiastically give this food with both paws up. Both can be picky at times, but they love this food. As a pet parent I like this food more than the fish they also reviewed. (They like both.) I can stand the smell of chicken cat food more than the smell of fish, so it's just based on that, and also that I prefer a chicken-based diet for my cats. One of the cats struggles with some of the pieces because of her size, but she handles these just fine. So I can feel good knowing she's not struggling with food. I stick to the old rule "The first three ingredients should be meat," although it's not always true. If you're looking for it, you'll know that the third ingredient isn't meat-based. But overall this is a winner for my cats.
