Wrist pads take a little getting used to. My last braces only had a support bar. It's much more comfortable than sleeping poles. I have to put my hands right on the pillows, but that's easy. They are very comfortable. If you've ever used bar braces and left them in the kitchen or bathroom overnight, you won't be able to do anything with them. they are too bulky. However, the comfort is worth the compromise. Delivery was quick. I didn't realize the brace was a "cushion" and not just a crossbar until I got it. Very good braces and the price is very good, half the price of the braces I took. Very happy with this purchase.
