This is an amazing diaper rash cream! The high price is the only reason I'm deducting a star. $17.50 for two tiny ounces - CRAZY expensive! I usually use Burt's Bee diaper rash balm because it's 40% zinc and has skin-soothing ingredients. This one costs about $8-9 for 4 ounces. My son came home from the hospital with a nasty rash that left him bleeding blisters all over his diaper area. Bert was the ONLY one who healed his ulcers quickly. I swear by it, so now I use it for every change (rash or not). He is now 2 years old and hasn't had a rash since! Sometimes I prefer something with less zinc. Mini Bloom Toot Toot Balm contains 20% zinc and lots of skin-soothing oils (e.g. jojoba). Typically, these unflavored diaper creams have an unpleasant, oily odor. Happy to report there is absolutely no smell... Although a TON of oil spilled out when I first squeezed the tube (see photo). Once you start it up it doesn't seem to leak any oil unless it settles and hasn't been used for a while. It is very thick and sometimes difficult to express. After that, it can be spread very easily and evenly. Works very well with the silicone diaper cream applicator. I will definitely use this one, but I can't imagine spending that much again. We use creams in each layer so the tubes last about 1-2 weeks. If you don't mind going broke, I highly recommend it! It's very gentle and soothing. Soft enough for newborns. Hope that helps! ☺️
