Beautifully crafted maple wood and elegant folding design that works well - ultra portable - lightweight. However, the strap is not leather, but sewn onto a PVC strap. (rather) accidental separation when something heavy is on top, like a picture in a frame. not used as an easel it may not be very suitable unless you can find a way to tie the legs together to prevent them from splitting. Ideal for painting outdoors.
