I bought this to get a nice smile line on my powder french manicure. This is my first attempt and I am very impressed. I'm a perfectionist and everything else and I wouldn't be happy. My biggest tip concerns the method of a French manicure: After applying the base, dip it VERY slowly into the white powder bath and remove it just as slowly. While the nail is tilted down, tap lightly once or twice. A little more and the product stuck together. To apply the pink, I held my nail over the pink powder and used a spoon to sprinkle it onto the nail and shake off the excess. When I dipped my nail directly into the pink powder, the white tip took on a pink hue, which I didn't like. The box was a little wrinkled but the contents were fine. It does not have a non-slip bottom. I just put it on my towel and never had any problems. Basically I am satisfied with the product.
