CONS: I had a strong chemical smell that left me for hours and my hands felt weird every time I touched them. I soaked the pad overnight (warm water with a little Sal Sud), rinsed well, wrapped in a towel (not wrung) to soak up excess water, then left outside to air dry for a few days. Repeat until the smell disappears. But over a month later my hands still feel weird if I leave them on the pillow for too long. Also, the mat is fairly static so anything that floats will stick to it. PROS: The mat is well made, fully covers the keyboard tray (which is what I wanted), the mouse moves easily over it and it doesn't slip.
