To be honest I never write reviews but feel compelled to write a review for this product. THE LONGEST time I've been looking for whitening products that 1. really work and 2. are safe to use. I saw this gel and despite the mixed reviews decided to give it a try given the reasonable price. I recently developed irritation between my thighs from my job as a waitress, and when it healed, the skin that was rubbed healed to a much darker skin tone than my naturally fair skin. I was so unsure about that. I used this gel every other night before bed and soon after careful observation and assuming nothing bad had happened, I started using it every night. This. Things. Is working. It has SIGNIFICANTLY lightened the dark areas to the point that they are gone and my usual fair skin tone on my inner thighs has been fully restored. Now I'm going to use it on my face for dark acne spots. It's more of a gel consistency than a creamy lotion. It becomes smooth but has an oily/oily appearance. I highly recommend that you only apply it at night (or during the day if you don't intend to go out in the sun) and give yourself at least an hour for this material to absorb. It has a light citrus scent but it's not strong. by no means sustainable. And finally, I have never felt any burning or discomfort from this gel. This is amazing stuff and I'm so glad I took a chance and bought it.
