compression stockings arrived quickly and in perfect, unused condition. I weigh a little over 300 kilos. with a fairly serious and uncomfortable leg/foot swelling problem which also causes problems in fitting shoes/trousers. I am working on weight loss in hopes that this problem will be reduced or eliminated along with other weight problems. But at the same time I now need something to reduce/eliminate swelling. The socks were neatly folded in a sealed clear plastic envelope. The material felt dense with good stretch. Unlike many other compression stockings I've bought, the calves are protected by a tab in front of the zipper for more comfort. Putting them on, which I feared, was actually quite easy, despite my rather large calves. Of course, you'll need to stretch the material along the calf to bring the sides of the zipper together before you close it. I was afraid that the tension put on the zipper as it was closing could cause the zipper teeth to fail/separate. . But everything went smoothly, without incident! The zippers have fabric loop extenders so they're easy to grab even with my numb fingers (another health issue of mine). As expected, once I fully zipped up, I felt some pressure around my calf. I don't think I feel that much compression around the foot though, but time will tell if the compression on the feet and calves is enough and I'll update my review then. I only bought one pair because I wasn't sure I made a good choice with this brand from Lemon Hero (weird brand name huh?). I'm already so pleased that I'll be buying another pair so I always have a clean pair to wear. I recommend you do as I do. My morning swelling is minimal after lying on my stomach all night. Then you should put them on - before the swelling builds up. I also highly recommend wearing compression stockings on airplane flights, especially long ones, and if you're going to be sitting for a long time. Therefore, based on my first impressions, I recommend these compression stockings. The quality is immediately apparent and the price is reasonable - not too low and not too high. Be wary of the very cheap ones as you generally get what you pay for. There are also some overpriced items. Check the customer reviews. I think I shopped wisely this time!
