Firstly, I didn't get it as a promotion or anything. I bought it myself so it's 100% honest. I ordered this as I walk a lot but it was very hot and humid which means I'll burn up there. While I was hoping for a strong wind blowing in my face, you actually get the feeling of a pleasant breeze constantly blowing around you. If you're just sitting outside in the heat, this is the perfect cool down. If you do some physical activity like running, exercising, working out, etc., this will help a little, but don't expect too much. I myself still sweat like a demon even when I wear this, but I put it on every time. I'm going out. The battery drains fairly quickly, 5 hours or so, but keep it charged and it's not a problem. Overall, I can recommend this little fan. EDIT: Well just 2 months later my little fan died. I was using it about 4 hours a week so let's estimate 32 hours usage. $17 is too much for something that dies so quickly. It's a nice concept, but it's not "there" yet. If I can find it for like $10 I might give it another try.
