I got the cream color and it's true cream. The only assembly required was attaching the legs which was easy--everything lined up perfectly. As I was looking at the underside of the chair, I was reminded that you get what you pay for so don't be expecting anything more. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but the chair is small. In other words, if you're much larger than the average person you're going to find this chair to be a tight fit if that. 6" X 16" Neck "bolster". Calling this a bolster is false advertising. A pillow is supposed to support, at least a little. These are flabby stuffing for decorative pillows, not something you'd actually use. I ended up having furniture foam wrapped with poly fill made for my pillows for $3 more. See full review

I like the look abd feel of both the black ad playful pink. Only time will tell if it hold up to the travel. We leave for our trip in 3 weeks. After a dissatisfying complaint, the company assured me I may have gotten a bad item. In doing so, I was sent a replacement. So far so good. The splitter is made of brass which is a plus, except for the screw-on neck and on/off valve. It is a solid item but only time will tell.
