The thing is very good. except:
I just bought two more. It's bright and nice to have both a remote control and a switch at the base. It doesn't seem quite straight down, but close enough. Updated rating from five to two stars; Batteries are not enough for "50" hours - maybe more than 7 hours. Before installing, you should use a sharp knife and shave off the three protrusions so you can easily lower the light fixture without removing the ceiling so you can replace the batteries every few weeks or so.
