I bought this for my living room (the first one was for the bedroom) and was really surprised at how many channels I got. The seller has a lot of information on the site including checking channel availability depending on where you live. When I installed it, there was more than the test said, which surprised me. Cables are becoming very expensive and in today's environment, the economy is winning. I learned this from a tech blog that explained how to cut a wire on a wire. I took the time to assemble the hardware needed for this and did it. It's embarrassing to pay cable for local channels that are free and the fee charged by the local cable company is passed on to the buyer. Thanks to this, many of my local channels became free-to-air. I have now cut the cord all the way through and am doing all my threads. I even made sure my WiFi router is up to date for all my devices and the whole family. As a side note what I get may be different. It all depends on the environment, signal interference (like trees, other cables nearby or blockages). For the price it can't get any better. Recommend
