Review on Enhanced Seavenger Alpha Fullsuit Wetsuit in 3mm Neoprene by Eric Kim

This wetsuit is very well made, with quality flatlock seams, a heavily taped zip and good rubber padding in high wear areas. I'm 6ft 2in, 195lbs. I have a 34" waist and 42" chest and am fairly lean and muscular. I ordered size XL to make sure it was big enough for me. I have a very long torso. , so it fits a little in the groin and neck area, but not so much that it causes discomfort or limits flexibility. It is long enough in the length of the arms and legs for a human with a wingspan of up to about 76 inches and is nice and snug on the limbs. The only place I would wish for a better fit is in the lumbar region. There is some dead space that I know will cool down a bit. Basically it's impossible to find a wetsuit for someone over 6ft without assuming you have a small beer belly and 38" waist and I have had much more expensive wetsuits and tried on many others. As a leisure diver, the cost of a custom made wetsuit is too high for me. Otherwise the build quality seems excellent and the fit is an A+ overall. My friend's wetsuit arrived today and the size is far from the expected size in the description. She's 5ft 8.5in, 145lbs, waist 26in, chest 38in and hips 40in and we were hesitant to take a size 9 because she was borderline on the size chart. In any case, we chose a size 9 because we thought it would be very tight, but it turned out to be WAY big. It fitted perfectly in the hips, seat and legs but the entire part of the wetsuit above the hips was very loose and baggy with a ton of dead space around the torso and shoulder blades We are returning this size 9 and ordering a size 7. I would say the Men's sizes have so far been much closer to accuracy than women's sizes. The only downside to this wetsuit (besides the poor sizing) is that the seams are flat. This means that they are very comfortable but not fully waterproof and therefore will not keep you as warm as an expensive seam-sealed suit. For the warm water diving I do (75+ degrees) it will be fine and at this price point I should be glad it even exists, let alone complain about the lack of quality stitching. If you dive a lot and dive in colder waters (or dive a lot every day, like 5+ tanks) I would recommend going for something with taped seams and a thicker neoprene shell. Be prepared to spend at least three times as much to get the best 5mm and 7mm seam sealed suits.
