Review on MÜHLE Classic Silvertip Fiber Shaving Brush: High-Grade Black Resin Handle for a Luxurious Shave Experience by Jennifer Bernard

The first part of this brush is very soft on the tips. More bone than most silvertips, a little more than double-banded silvertips, and less than a horse or boar. I had no problem lathering soap or cream. Hard soap needs to be soaked a little as the brush isn't stiff enough to easily pick up the soap without softening it first. However, I have to do the same with my badger brushes. Synthetic lathers differently because the bristles do not absorb water and do not lather. This results in less soap or cream being needed to create the same amount of lather. Also, getting the proportions right when transitioning from badger hair brushes can be difficult at first. The size and shape of the pen is ok. Nothing special. However, the knot is very nice and tight, but not overly stuffed. I like the 23mm knot more than the 21mm knot, but the 21mm knot feels a bit softer on the face. I also had a HIS Beauty Strokes brush that I gave to my brother. This brush offers much better value for money, with even softer tips and a tighter knot, making it much closer to horse or boar bristles without being itchy or too stiff. It has become my favorite comb. out of 5 for me.
