Review on Renewed OnePlus 8 (Black) with 5G Capabilities, 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 865, and 6.55" 90Hz Display (T-Mobile Only) by Ada Wajszczuk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre product, probably won't use.

1) Always use a white frame when installing safety glass. The fingerprint unlock feature is also occasionally compromised by the protective glass. When a protective glass cover like the one seen in the photo is adhered to the device, the proximity sensor practically stops functioning, and the screen remains on. 2) Disabling alerts when the screen is locked. The screen's light indicator was something I had no idea how to configure (such as the ice indicator of notifications). So that after, say, 5 minutes, I see a notification that something blinks on the off screen. There is not a pre-installed feature.

Pros
  • It's so lovely how everything flows from the previous location to the new one. Brings along the whole shebang. Cool. Easy to grip, not like a shovel. Pictures are commonplace. To put it bluntly, it's not great. Is capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second. Utilizes intelligence well. A quick charge. The transition from sim1 to sim2 is simple. It's not any worse than the competition.
Cons
  • 1) At now, the biggest disadvantage for me is: With the dark theme enabled, the brightness of the screen is inconsistent due to the fact that all (!) dynamic, adaptive, etc. options are turned off. In an instant, the screen goes from yellow to white. Comparable to a flaw in the program. Changing the color's temperature causes a sudden increase or decrease in perceived brightness. Evenings bring about a great deal of tension in the eyes. Moreover, the screen capture video doesn't reveal the issue. The only way to document the issue is to take a screenshot from a different phone. The corners of the display are rounded off. There are occasional accidental activations. These do occur, and you can't deny its reality. 3) The device cannot rest horizontally on a flat surface if it is not protected by a bumper (case). The phone on the table is moving while you type. 4) The charging cable included is not European, horribly oversized (those who enjoy "when more" can rejoice), and hefty with two flat rectangular connectors. Absence of a grounding pin. Quite simply, an adaptor is necessary. While the adapter stays put in a vertical outlet when charging, it falls out when charging when stuck in a horizontal position (due to its weight). This third pin ensured a secure connection when used in prior vanities without a grounding socket. (5) The Chrome browser frequently becomes unresponsive. As you try to scroll the website, it abruptly stops responding. To fix it, Chrome is exited, the list of running programs is accessed, and then Chrome is restarted.
