I really should have known better. At first glance, the stools look good. Putting it together was an absolute nightmare though! I don't know if mine was defective, but almost none of the holes were pre-drilled. I had to pry the drill out to put the screws back in, and even then it was incredibly difficult. There are other screws in awkward places that need to be tightened with the supplied Allen key - this takes a lot of patience. When I finally assembled them, there were gaps in places where it just didn't fit. You don't look good when you start looking. I wish I could get my money back.
