What can I say. This little fan has been sitting on my desk for over two years now. Well, that's nothing new, you say. Well, yes, because he's been working almost nonstop for those two years. Yes, I mean non stop. It was off when the power went out but that was about it. I have it because I walk on the warm side. I looked at others and settled on this one for three reasons. This is silence, price and soft blades. Soft blades are essential for cats. My cat loves to sit on my table just like everyone else. Even when he got close, which he often did, neither side was hurt by the contact. If it does make contact (while I giggle), he glares at him and walks away. One day he decided to fight him. It was a draw and nobody got hurt. The fan just kept blowing. I like it so much I bought another one for work. The only downside is that it runs so quietly that I sometimes forget to turn off the working fan before going home. But I'm not worried as the one at home still works after two years of continuous use. Update: This fan has been running non-stop on my desk for 3 years now and it still works. Update: Well, the fan has finally died. after 8 years. Will buy another one.
