This glass storage set is a great choice for those looking to prepare a meal for themselves or just want to store leftovers. The set is small but perfect for keeping in the fridge and using in the microwave. The glass itself seems sturdy, although not the thickest I've used. My only real complaint is that they claim to be airtight and after testing them I found that they weren't. Although I would call them leakproof. This set includes a nice set for storing leftovers or snacks. It's not my choice for storing a lot of groceries or meals for more people than me, but it's good for measuring snacks or controlled portions throughout the week. The largest containers are good for a small lunch, while the smallest are ideal for mini snacks throughout the day. The lids on these containers are good, but they're made out of fairly flimsy plastic. I would not recommend washing the lids as I suspect they will break. They are not microwavable and I find it interesting that they have a vented lid if you can't use it for ventilation while cooking. Not sure what you need for ventilation other than hot food. I tested leak tightness claims by filling these containers with water and turning them upside down. While it may not be the most practical test, it showed me that they are leaking. I found leaks along the seams and drips around the lid openings. The leak wasn't serious and I would fully trust them with wet food if I'm carrying it around in a lunch bag for example, but I wouldn't recommend wet food like soup. Overall, I would recommend these containers, especially for those who often only cook for one or two people. They are good quality, look great and are perfect for those who prefer glass over plastic.
