I have/had a Samsung CLP-315 laser printer that has worked flawlessly for years (8+). is working. I have always replaced printer cartridges with official Samsung replacement cartridges even though they are more expensive than generic/non-branded cartridges. When I ordered new ones this time, the dealers I used to have usually didn't have official cartridges for sale. Disappointing but not surprising given the age of the printer at this point I guess. After some searching I settled on these GREENSKY toner cartridges noting some negative reviews about my type of printer but generally positive reviews. I ordered them, received them on time and installed them without incident. The problems started when I started typing. The first few prints (black and white) were fuzzy and fuzzy. No problem, I assume the new cartridges are just warming up. After that the prints start to smudge a bit and I get ghosting from the previous page prints on the next few pages. Again, I'm happy to take a break, although I've never had these issues and have about 25 prints at the moment. I tried to print a full page and color image hoping to "reset" the printheads. The print never came out and now I get an error message. Long story short (or moderately long in this case), after a lot of work, trying to find the mysteriously missing stuck page, fixing the web, and finally taking apart the top of the printer. . Based on my research/troubleshooting/repair guides, I finally found the missing page wrapped around what I believe was the 'fuser' assembly in the printer. Ink/page sticks to itself/fuser. I tried and failed to eject the paper. At this point I would have to contact Samsung customer service, a lengthy process that would probably cost me more than a printer replacement is worth, to fix this as the printer is out of warranty and I was using toner cartridges from other manufacturers . Is it possible that this catastrophic failure was simply caused by printouts and had nothing to do with toner cartridges? I think it's technically possible. Do I think these third party toner cartridges directly contributed to or caused the problem that eventually ruined my printer? Absolutely. Can I prove any of this in "court"? nope So I'm just leaving a disappointed Revain review here and sending these cartridges back hoping I can at least recoup my $49 through my brick printer. โ(-"-)โ
