I'm actually a woman with slightly wider legs than regular chacos, but I liked the Mega-Z look. So I decided to try male chako. They are very comfortable and your feet won't slip or slide in them, making them great for hiking. I've worn these shoes on Palo-Fuel Canyon campaigns, on kayaks and just about town. The only issue I had was that my pink toe felt like it was blistering when I ran about six miles (and that was after other days of heavy hiking). I put on a preventative bandage and moved on. There were no more problems and my legs felt good. These shoes are also fairly easy to adjust and very easy to wash. You can simply wash them in the washing machine. To all the ladies who are thinking about buying men's chacos, I usually wear a women's size 48. I have a slightly wide foot but I can usually wear regular medium-width shoes. I bought the men's 8 and they fit perfectly.
