These ethernet cable connectors are great when you only need to run a few feet of ethernet cable but can't reach it with a cable. I love WiFi, but I game quite a bit, I just don't trust wireless networks enough when it comes to game time, and I've had my fair share of signal dropouts in the middle of this big gaming moment, so I need to connect to my gaming system, no exceptions ! I recently had to move my playroom and the ethernet cable I was using just wasn't long enough to get into the new playroom. I had a few extra Ethernet cables scattered around my house and just didn't want to buy a new cable for a clean install. Luckily I found and bought RJ45 ethernet connectors and they worked great with the old ethernet cables I had, I got a cable connection that was extended to a new game installation site and it was a lot cheaper.
