I have an electric log splitter and an electric chipper/chipper, both 15 amps. I used both all day today after getting the extension cord and the cord didn't heat up at all from the current drawn which is great. The insulation appears to be quite thick, but you can tell that there are heavy wires inside, so we'll see how it holds up. The lighted end is good for providing visual confirmation that the cord is live and the plug has not been unplugged from the outlet. Although 12 gauge wire is inside, it is not rigid and twists very easily. The blue cord is convenient for my use, but if you're using it outdoors where you want it to blend in with the grass, it might not look as great. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a good price and quality.
