It itches and is therefore not comfortable at all. It gets dirty quickly and picks up dirt, making the surface impossible to clean BUT I've had the good fortune to clean it by squeezing a few prongs in a bath of apple cider vinegar and then rinsing it off in a clean water bath in the same manner . Then I hang it on a towel rail to dry. You need something to catch water. It's not a difficult clean but who wants to do it after every use like you should with this product. Also because the surface is so itchy, I no longer use it.
