I have chronic pain from endometriosis, so last year I decided to try a dozen to relieve muscle pain. I didn't have high hopes, but I was willing to try anything but drugs and heard positive feedback from other gym-goers. I fell in love with my device instantly and have been using it every week since. Because I travel a lot. I needed a second pad to always have in my suitcase. I was surprised to see that the same company that sold my first block released a new one. I have attached pictures of what is in the box. The blue block itself is light but strong, durable and easy to use. It can be carried in the front/back pocket or even on the belt. Finding something to hold shouldn't be a problem as it's small and light enough to fit almost anywhere. It's the size of an iPod. (I actually dropped mine a few times and had no problems.) I had no trouble understanding how it works as it's pretty self-explanatory, plus there's an included manual. Click the buttons to play with it and see how it works! They work, mess something up, or even touch battery life to the drain. More plug-n-play is not possible. I appreciate the different sizes of the pads and the 2 plastic boards they can be taped to for reuse. Adding a pocket lets you store all the accessories together, and cables are organized with small Velcro straps on each. Nothing is worse than a tangled cable. The case has an on/off switch and a USB port for charging. There are 2 ports, A and B, on the bottom of the device for connecting cables. The USB charging cable is included and the device comes already half charged. The battery capacity is impressive! One charge is enough for twenty sessions of 40 minutes. I rarely need to charge my device. The battery indicator on the LED screen shows a battery icon divided into parts, each of which will be discharged if it loses power. I prefer the actual percentage over the bar icon, but given the long battery life and very fast charging, it really doesn't matter as 15+ hours is a long time. What about loading time? About an hour! That's incredible! Pillows of different sizes are suitable for every part of the body and zone. They easily attach and detach from the wires and rotate for convenience. It's not very expensive to replace if necessary, and any standard snap-on rosette will do. I have found that I can use mine for a month. I washed the pads with soap and let them dry on a towel but I quickly realized that it wasn't worth the time as they are very cheap to replace. But you can do it, and it works if you need to save a few bucks. For the price, this Hodoy Ten unit is worth the pain it causes me. Everyone is different and I can't tell if this will work for you, but it's worth a try if it helps at all. Sometimes a little breather from time to time is all we need to fully enjoy life with chronic pain. This product gives me a safe and effective alternative that I can rely on and use consistently. I usually stick with level 3-4, although units go from 1-10. Depending on the type of massage and the pace, there are many different options. The only downside I could find with this device is that you have to scroll forward through each option instead of going back or skipping others. This means that if you missed something you wanted to select and it was at the end of the onscreen options, you'll have to keep going until you get back to it. Each time you change the massage, the intensity drops to 0. You'll have to adjust it each time, so wait until you find the one you want or you'll keep doing it. Just increase it enough to feel the type of massage. The well-sized LED screen is easy to read with a blue backlight that fades after a few seconds of inactivity but lights up when a button is pressed. There's also a timer button that allows for various increments of up to 60 minutes before turning off, which I like as I also use it to help me fall asleep. Dual ports mean you have to switch between the two to select the massage you want, although both can be used at the same time. The one that flashes is the one you are setting up. At the bottom front of the device is a circular group of buttons. These are for mode (to switch between options in a message), timer (to turn off the preset), left and right flicks (to select a port to change), and a button that lets you select flashing icons on the screen be able. . This is a small but powerful device that I would highly recommend to anyone. I will be buying a few more as gifts and look forward to giving them away over the holidays. I was skeptical until I tried it. It won't take away your muscle aches, but what have you got to lose for $25-$30? I also use this machine during workouts to maximize reps and muscle utilization. You can't go wrong with this device!
