I had a colleague who got something like this for Christmas, of course I laughed until I got a scratch. I just couldn't scratch. . So I ordered one and couldn't be happier. It now sits and lives in my pencil holder on my desk and is a constant reminder that just one more purchase could replace my ineffective scratching hands with these wonderful scratching posts! Then I'd have to learn to do a lot more things with non-posable metal arms, which just seems silly, so I'm happy, as is my lonely back scratcher. enjoy everything
