I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler 4x4, 6 speed manual transmission. A year ago I changed the clutch and installed a new Exedy clutch kit. After 1 year of use, the throwout bearing in its natural state started making noise without releasing the clutch. I dropped the transmission and found the throwout bearing was on the way to total failure. I fitted a Luk clutch and WOW what is the difference. I am very picky with my 380km jeep which I have conscientiously kept. The clutch is very smooth and not that hard to press compared to the Exedy. Don't worry about the dowel pins on the Luk clutch disc. The dowel pins are not installed in my case and are not really needed for alignment. 3 of the 6 mounting holes on the clutch disc have a small tolerance. When the bolts are tightened, they themselves align the clutch disc with the flywheel. I highly recommend this product.
