I bought these shoes for a hike in Slot Canyon where we will be walking on water most of the time. You have done a great job. I didn't have much time to "break them in" but it wasn't necessary. They fit very comfortably. I wear a 10 1/2 when I can't find them anymore based on other reviews. I bought size 10 for women and it worked fine. The only thing I would have wished for was a little better arch support. However, my legs and back were fine after the 4 mile hike.
