My daughter has been scouting for 3 years now. I can hand sew and have not done so on some of their badges. It's not easy and it doesn't look good. Some Iron Icons, which I can tell you about from experience, fall off. (I know they fall off because I once ironed one in the wrong place and was able to quite simply take it off the vest to fix it. Enter the badge magic. Circle, glue, use the handle of the scissors to the Press vest... Simplicity No ironing or sewing required I usually save the leftovers of my tracing paper as they can be used for small badges Magic Badges are a more expensive product but I think it's definitely worth it for the quality and the time saving.
