I sent it back after trying to attach it to my rig. This is a very well made matte box, but the main reason I use a matte box is to add another point of contact when using the easyrig rig. There is a problem here because the matte box doesn't support round filters, you can buy 4x4 or 4x5.65 filters which are much more expensive than round ones and I don't justify spending that much money just because I changed the matte have box. a rod mount for the matte box, very handy as it could be detached without sliding to the end of the rods but without pressing the lens against the matte box as I use round filters I could no longer grab the matte box to mount a add focal point because it's not safe. Don't get me wrong, this is a great matte box if you want to use 4x4/4x5.65 filters or if you're not using a matte box as a pickup point. If you use circular filters choose oblique, if you also take a frosted box (bad habit though), look elsewhere, take a wooden camera or similar. Loosen the thread adapter ring for round filters from the front.
