Smart and well designed. The light weight and hinge tension are excellent. Smallrig does not offer a 77mm step up ring in their store but you can contact customer service and they can arrange for you to purchase more.

When it comes to Matboxes you can't get anything quite as good at this price point. Even the incline can't get that low. The fact that this matte box is VERY lightweight, comes with adapters to fit many lens adapter rings, and has TWO 4x4 or 4x5.6 filters that snap in makes it a viable solution for professional use and development. Smallrig have never failed me with any of the products I have purchased from them and this article only boosts my confidence.

I will support what others say. It's lightweight, well built and rail mounted, fairly easy to use and not too tiring when changing lenses. I sent it back after trying to attach it to my rig. This is a very well made matte box, but the main reason I use a matte box is to add another point of contact when using the easyrig rig. This 2663 matte stem support is well built and looks good, but it's terrible when you want to make a quick lens change. This allows you to attach and detach it directly to the rods without having to remove other lures, but this flexibility comes at a huge price. If you remove it, you'll lose any pen adjustments that align the matte box with the lens.
