They work well but rust fairly quickly. Why .

Works well but rusts fairly quickly. Why, because they are not chromed aluminum. How should I know? Well, the latter rusted through completely in 8 months and my magnet is sticking to the shaft. I actually thought someone swapped my mirrors, but then I did a magnet test. My bike is outside under a cover that doesn't appear to be waterproof when it should have been.
